Grief & Loss
Grief Therapy for the Loss You’re Still Carrying
Whether it happened last month or years ago, the grief you’ve had to keep functioning through is still grief — and it deserves somewhere to go.
Grief doesn’t follow a tidy timeline, and it isn’t only about death. It can come from an ending, an estrangement, a diagnosis, a move, or the slow loss of who you used to be. Much of the grief I sit with is the quiet kind — carried while still showing up for everyone else.
You might recognize your grief here
This work may be for you if…
- The world moved on, but you haven’t
- You’re grieving something that’s still here
- You never got to fully feel it — life didn’t pause
- People expect you to be “over it”
- It shows up as exhaustion, irritability, or numbness
- The loss is tangled, or hard to put into words
Room for grief in all its forms
Together we make room for the contradictory feelings grief brings — sorrow beside relief, love beside anger — and we honor what feels unfinished. There’s no “right” way to grieve, and no schedule you’re failing to meet.
When loss is tangled up with trauma and keeps replaying in ways talk alone doesn’t settle, I draw on EMDR. We move toward a grief you can carry, not one you have to hide. Sessions are available across Arizona and Texas, and in person in Chandler.

Common questions
Is it normal to still be grieving after a long time?
Yes. Grief has no expiration date, and it often resurfaces around anniversaries or new losses. If it feels stuck or like it’s running your days, therapy can help you carry it differently — nothing is wrong with you for still feeling it.
What if my loss isn’t a death?
Grief follows many kinds of loss — breakups, estrangement, infertility, a diagnosis, a job, a move, the life you expected. These are real, and they’re welcome here.
Do you offer grief therapy online?
Yes — online across Arizona and Texas, and in person in Chandler. Many people find the privacy of meeting from home especially steadying while grieving.
Your grief deserves a witness
